Increased profits & efficiency, Reduced paperwork, and Time saved with iLink's easiest, most Effective, HIPAA compliant, SOAP charting Solution on the market

Situation >

Frustrated by disorganized charting systems, our Client wanted a systematic approach to providing access to all patient information anytime, anywhere, the ability to manage disorganized, bulky charts and concentrate on patient care. In addition to taking care of the physician's information needs, the Client wanted to eliminate duplicative summary dictation.

Results >

Developed a flexible, scalable and extensible network.

Enables hospitals to focus on patient care, not paperwork.

Enhances Management Capabilities.

Creates effective Reporting and Analysis

Technology >

The Patient chart was divided into three tiers - a highly configurable and flexible user interface (UI), business logic and data access from database. Such a design would ensure a smooth transition from one UI to another UI without affecting other layers. This approach separates the content from presentation and the logic from the actual data.

User Interface tier: Static HTML and ASP .NET pages

Middle Tier Design: C#

Data Tier Design: Stored procedures, Triggers and Tables on MS SQL Server 2000

Solution >

iLink's solution included a HIPAA compliant SOAP note-based patient charting software with prescription writing capabilities. iLink's customized solution was a web-based Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system which served as an excellent diagnostic and clinical management tool. The patient chart, being the key component of our EMR system, was used to maintain all the information about the patient visit, allergies, medical history, etc. As opposed to a client-server model, our web-based solution allows secure access round the clock - 24 x 7 from any web connected PC. iLink's overall solution offered a systematic approach to displaying a longitudinal summary database.
