Interoperability is a fundamental requirement for Health & Life Sciences organizations to derive the benefits promised by the adoption of electronic systems like Electronic Medical Records (EMRs), Personal Health Records (PHRs), Practice Management System, e-Prescribing and so on. Interoperability is achieved using standards like IHE, HITSP, CCHIT, HL7, XDS, etc. iLink’s services enable systems developed on different technologies communicate and help pass vital health information seamlessly from application to application, system to system across the entire Health & Life Sciences ecosystem. One of the ways in which iLink’s enables interoperability is by the use of Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) based standards.
IHE is an initiative by healthcare professionals and industry to improve the way computer systems in healthcare share information. IHE Profiles describe the solution to a specific integration problem, and document the system roles (Actors), standards and design details for implementers to develop systems that cooperate to address that problem. IHE Domains are responsible for the development and maintenance of the IHE Technical Frameworks that document the Integration Profiles. Each Domain manages a few Integration Profiles.
iLink provides IHE based solutions encompassing all the domains and profile within the domains.
The solution domains include:
